I am from Cascais, a coast side town in Portugal. Although traveling the world, living abroad, studding subjects like psychology, coaching and hotel management, I discovered my passion for people, nature, wine, and an authentic way of living in the Alentejo region.
As a professional in the hospitality business for fifteen years, and certified sommelier by the WSET for the last six years, I developed skills for high standard quality service that led me not only to be part of a team that won the first Michelin star of the Alentejo region but also the honour to teach customer service in one of our most prestigious hotel schools, EHT Portalegre.
My passion for the Alentejo region and the local knowledge I have acquired working with wine tourism, launched me to create our brand, Wine Roots where our mission is to provide unique and authentic experiences for those who visit and finding a home for those who want to stay providing services for an authentic way of living.

Born and raised in Alentejo, this is where I feel at home, with its people and traditions. There´s something magical in this land that changes with the seasons, the infinite countryside landscapes, the colours, the flavours.
My assignment with Wine Roots comes from my will to share the Alentejo that I feel deep inside with everyone willing to get lost in an one of a kind region.
Being a cook and a Chef for 14 years, soon I realised that through the chemistry that comes from the perfect food and wine pairing, one can elevate a meal to the field of memorable experience.
Our aim is in the memories, not the past, but the future ones.
